Interfilk guest: Eli Bar-Yahalom

Eli Bar-Yahalom is an Israeli singer-songwriter well known in the F&SF community. A Tolkien fan, a Trekkie, a Pratcheteer and a dabbler in original fantasy prose, he* loves to compress long ideas into short texts: thus his relatively concise songs are often akin to whole novels. In his native Hebrew, he produced the albums “Wanderer Between Worlds” and “Spying For The Unicorn”, both available online. Additionally, he writes a lot in Russian and has gained a significant following among the Russian-speaking community. He’s also known by the moniker “Khatul” (Hebrew for “cat”).

* Eli identifies as a cat. “He” is a pronoun of convenience, since Eli is a full-time father and husband. And cat.
